The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I've worked as a math teacher in between raising four children. Tamara, Kirsten, Douglas, and son-in-law, Al, in addition to my grandson, Dylan, now age 4, are the light of my life. Sadly, we cherish memories of our oldest daughter and sister, Kimberly, who died at age 26 of ALS,(Lou Gehrig's Disease). I'm currently still working as a senior math instructor at the oldest distance learning company in existence, Penn Foster, founded in 1890 to educate coal miners in Northeastern PA. My department serves people all over the world who are achieving their high school diploma in a non-traditional setting. My family members think that it is great for me to continue to stay active. We enjoy life in the Pocono Mountains, and we still love to return to Penn State.
